logistics for athletes

There is a place for vans on the site, but if you don’t want to drive then the easiest option is to fly to Poland. The closest international airport is in Cracow. From there take a train or bus(flixbus) to Krynica-Zdrój(trains are way more comfortable).

There are three accommodation options:

1. Camping on site
There will be a designated flat area, most likely on a concrete surface, where you can set up your tent. Please bring all the camping equipment you may need.

A bathroom and one shared shower will be available on site.

This option will be free of charge for athletes and volunteers.

Poles are known for being welcoming and helpful, so we will do our best to support you where possible. We also recommend reaching out in the WhatsApp group and asking whether anyone might be able to lend you a tent for the event.

2. Staying in a van on site
There will be a dedicated parking area where you can stay in your van. Please note that the parking area has no shade, and there will be no access to an electricity hook-up or running water at the parking area.

3. Hostel

There is a friendly hostel located approximately 800 metres from the event site, where we will have discounted room rates. Around 40€ per person per night with breakfast included.

We don’t provide meals for athletes and volunteers. There is a restaurant on the event site and in the near area. There are also shops nearby where you can do your groceries.

The currency in Poland is złoty(PLN). Be prepared for that or pay with card. Almost every place accepts contactless payments methods.
